We invite all creative curious travellers to join this CALL for living and sharing a unique experience in Pistoia (Italian Capital of Culture 2017 and European Capital of Plant Nurseries), Tuscany – as our special guests: free accommodation for min 2 / max 4 nights + some local gifts and little surprises. Our hospitality in exchange of one beautiful eternal story to tell on this web guidezine [www.cct-seecity.com] and to collect in a special edition that will be published by the end of this year thanks to our media partners Discover Pistoia & NATURART.
Welcome home! Accommodation for you (+ 2 friends)
You can participate together with 1 or 2 friends, creative and curious like you, and share with them your spacious and cosy apartment in the middle of a plant nursery, a few minutes from the city centre, at the headquarters of our main sponsor Giorgio Tesi Group: leading company in the production of ornamental plants and cultivated surface in Europe, which has become standard-bearer of the beauties of Pistoia and its territory around the world through NATURART magazine and Discoverpistoia.it portal. Otherwise, you’ll meet here other #CCTravellers2017!
NOTE We can’t afford to cover your travel costs but we can promise this: while you’ll be here, in Pistoia, we’ll do our best to see you smile every second! The #CCTravellers2016 can tell you about, ask them.

WHO
This CALL is for storytellers, writers, photographers, filmmakers, illustrators, artists (of any kind: street art, music, etc.) who love being surprised while they explore the world – with curious eyes and creative minds – in search of details that make the difference… Because different is beautiful!
WHERE
City: Pistoia, Tuscany, Italy. City of art and ornamental plants. Italian Capital of Culture 2017 and among the top ten cities to see in 2017 according to Lonely Planet’s “Best in Travel 2017”.
WHEN
This CALL will be open from 15 May to 15 June 2017. > It means that you could submit your application filling out a simple FORM [here below or at this page, visible from 15 May]. > By the end of June/beginning of July, we’ll announce the selected “creative curious travellers”: the #CCTravellers2017! Our special guests, according to their proposal, will be hosted (for min 2 / max 4 nights) during this period: from 15 July to 15 September 2017 (excluding 7-27 August).
Before your arrival to Pistoia, you’ll be asked to tell us a bit more about your creativity and curiosity, cultural interests and passions. This way we’ll be able to provide you some specific information and related local contacts, in order also to help you in the research and development of your story.
During your stay in Pistoia, you’ll be free to explore the city and its surroundings. Some CCTzens – in particular Elena and Michele (project representatives) but also Luisa, Chiara, Laura and others – will be happy to advise you and put you in contact with local creative people and cultural organisations. And if you’ll enjoy this “Pistoiese” experience, you could share it on your social media with the hashtags: #CCTravellers2017, #DiscoverPistoia, #Pistoia2017, #SeeCity.
Before your departure from Pistoia, you’ll be interviewed by Discover Pistoia and asked by us (CCTeam) to send your story – possibly – within a month.
As soon as we’ll have received your story, we’ll translate it in Italian, publish it in both languages (English and Italian) on this web guidezine [www.cct-seecity.com] and share it on our social media. We’ll finish to publish all the stories about Pistoia signed by the #CCTravellers2017 within the end of October. And then, by the end of this year, all the stories by the #CCTravellers2017 will be collected in a special edition thanks to our media partners Discover Pistoia & NATURART.
WHY
We are an open community and our dream is to tell beautiful eternal stories from every corner of the world. Creative people have a cultural awareness and an unusual sensitivity that make them see life and reality in a different way: they see those details that make the difference and – we believe – different is beautiful! Somehow, they always and wherever look for beauty. So they can help us to find it also in our cities, often made ugly and all similar by the so-called “non-places”. Why? Because we all need beauty. Humans need beauty. Isn’t it?
This is our second “CALL for Creative Curious Travellers” (after the first edition for the City of Prato, 2016) and it’s possible especially thanks to Giorgio Tesi Group – main sponsor in the #CCTravellers2017 project for the City of Pistoia.
A co-storytelling project for the promotion of Creativity, Culture, Territory. An opportunity for every creative curious traveller but also (and especially) for the city involved. A simple and flexible format, ideal for telling everything that is still ignored or little known by the mass, in favour of a conscious and sustainable, slow and widespread tourism, in contact with the most authentic local life.
